Catching Up (EO, Miami, Leaving!? and random stuff)
Okay, so my blog really has been kind of neglected. So, here is whats been going on. On July 2 Captain EO opened and I absolutely love it. It is a lot of fun, I get to spend day after day with Michael, and he always manages to make my day better. "We are here to Change the World" and "Another Part of Me" are the 2 featured songs and they are awesome!! The Supreme Leader has the best lines ever. "Silence Infidel" "You think me beautiful?!" "Turn the others into......... (...) trashcans!" "You infect my world with your presence" and of course "So... then we both admit to your... stupidity!!" but Hooter (the space elephant) also has a wonderful line "I think I ate it!" So it's fun to watch all that, but the singing and dancing just... wonderful. Sometimes when I'm getting a little tired (Extra Magic Hours...) well, sometimes when I'm tired, I go into the back of the theater (not the wheelchair section but right in front of it(as long as no one is back there)) and I dance along with Michael. I'm no where as good as him of course, and mobility is limited because I don't want to distract people from the movie lol) but I dance along and it's really super fun :-) So one weekend Anthony (new Image worker from France) was going to Miami and he had invited Andera (new Image crew from Arizona) to go and I was gonna go but I couldn't go cuz I had plans with Hutch and Cari and fam for the 4th of July which was SO MUCH FUN!! we went to this place called Faris and Foster's and I made chocolate!! They have all sorts of molds and cups (like for peanutbutter cups)truffle cups and everything that you could ever imagein (pretzels, strawberries, twinkies, graham crackers and much more) that can be covered in chocolate. and it was SO GOOD!! so that was way fun!! anyway, we decided that we wanted to go to Miami so me, Andrea, Sophie (Image from England) and Erick (Image from Mexico) went to Miami on July 16-17. Lots of driving, driving right through tolls, going to the beach, shopping (2 dresses, 2 cardis, 8 spaghetti straps, 5 pairs of earings and I didn't spend $100!!) more driving, chilling, it was a lot of fun so I'm glad we did that. Another improptu trip (although we did actually decided that we were goig about 2 weeks before we went. So not as random as Boston) and it was fun. Let's see the movies I've seen lately.. Toy Story 3 loved it, made me cry. Killers with Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl and it was pretty good. I probably won't buy it but it was good and I'm glad I saw it. Eclipse which I liked. Defs the best Twilight movie so far. I thought it was well done, they got most of the important stuff in the book in although it was sad that they recast Victoria. The new one was not as good as the origional, but still did a good job. Despicable Me was quite possibly one of the funniest movies EVER!! "It's so fluffy I could DIE!!" Ya I loved it. and Finally, The Sorcerers Apprentice based on Fantasia (which is being released again soon!!) and it was really good. Nicholas Cage did a wonderful job!! And the Fantasia scene (with the music and the mops...) my face was quite funny. I was so excited. Oh... i went to Fantasmic! on Sunday and my face was the same then. Andrew (at Fantasmic!) and Paul (and S.P.) were both like... uh...wow. It was great lol. I've been at Disney for 7 months and it hasnt't lost any of the magic. I still love Disney. Always have. Always will. No Matter what. Never changing. I also finally finished the Star Wars moveis. all 6. and the last one (return of the jedi) was my favorite. It was really really good. And I just watched this version of snow white (not anamated) with Miranda Richardson as the Evil Queen and Kristin Kreuk as Snow White. It was a different take on the story but it was still good. I liked it. And I read in Entertainmant Weekly that Tim Burton is doing a version of Sleeping Beauty from Maleficent's point of view. awesome ya?! Angelina Jolie is meant to play Maleficent and I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I'm super excited to see it. Also coming out (but not by Tim Burton) is a new version of Little Mermaid (following origional sotry where she dies) Snow White (following origional story with thieving dwarves) Little Red Riding Hood (set in Midevil times and witha warewolf) and Cinderella (in the blurb it used the word "swashbuckling" and i'm not sure how I feel about that...but we'll see) So that's all stuff to look forward too. The next movie in theaters im planning on seeing is Inception which is supposed to be AMAZING!! I have only 8 days of work left :-( and in 2 weeks from yesterday (right now) I'm walking off a plane in Salt Lake City. Of course, have plans for the week before I go back to Utah but I get to that after it happens. So that's all for now!! Hasta!! :-D

6 Parks in 1 Day....Crazy, I know
So here at Disney, people do 4 parks in one day all the time. Margaret and I decided to follow the Disney Basics. Specifically one. "I go above and beyond" and we did 6 parks in one day. The two universal parks and the 4 disney parks. and MAN i was just dead by the end. We started our day at about 9 AM. Straight to Universal Stuios. We started in the Stuidos going on the Mummy and Men in Black. We have pictures, I'll try to get them on here, but they will be on facebook for sure!! Then we ran over to Islands of Adventures, which was PACKED!! There probably weren't as many people there as there were at any of the Disney Parks yesterday, but its much smaller so it seems much more crowded. Thanks to single rider lines though, we did okay. We got pics with X Men and a fun elephant in Seuss Landing. We rode the water ride...not dudley doright but the other one... i dont remember what its called right now. but we got absolutely soaked, and it was quite gross and uncomfortable so we bought some dresses. Unfortunately, they didn't have any with real sleeves, so i was in a spaghetti strap dress all day but whatever. at least it was clean and dry. After Universal we ran through the mcdonalds drive through and headed to Animal Kingdom. We went on the safari and can I just tell you it was the absolutel worst safari I have ever been on!! I dont know who the guide was but it was just awful. The driver only talked about the animals and nothing else, she was monotone and she didnt say anything about the bridges or anything fun at all. Kind of a snooze...we should have skpped it. When we were walking through Dinoland USA there were suddenly these loud footsteps behind me, I turn around and find Goofy RIGHT behind me. Scared me to death. He and Pluto were walking the park. No attendants though, so we couldnt get pictures. Oh well. Next park: Hollywood Studios. Here we went on The Great Movie Ride and thanks to my AWESOME roomie Katey, we were able to get fastpasses to Rockin Rollercoaster and Towe of Terror so we got to do all of those!! It was great. Next, fly to Epcot to park the car, run across the park and Monorail it to Magic Kingdom. The gold monorail pulls up to the station and we are ready to go until... "Ladies and Gentlmen, we are currently conducting a routine maintenance check on Monorail gold. Thank you for your patience." So we sit there... then they say "We are experiencing technical difficulties. Please board monorail teal behind you and Magic Kingdom will be the third stop." So we all go to monorail teal while monorail gold pulls out. As soon as monorail gold pulls out monorail blue pulls in. Teal leaves, and so does blue. Blue goes straight to MK but we all had to board teal which has to go to polynesian and grand floridian before it goes to MK. So FINALLY we get there. and run through security. We get into the park and go on Pirates and then dash to Splash Mountain where Margaret's friend had fast passes waiting for us. So we run on splash get off, hit up some photo pass people (we got photopass pics in all of the parks. We actually had AMAZING photopass people at Epcot, studios and animal kingdom. So much fun.) and left the park. Get to Epcot, run to soarin where we got some fastpasses from Keith and then headed over to Image, rode the ride, talked to some people and then ran to the front of the park to get Randi and Cale. Then we met up with Keith at Le Cellier and had the most amazing dinner ever!! It was so so good. And I discovered that I do actually like creme brulee. I had it plain in a basic foods class freshman year of high school and i didnt like it. But this was maple creme brulee and made professionally and wow it was good. Then we came home and I hurt. I have blisters and blood and it was simply an exhausting day. It was a lot of fun though, I'm glad we did it. But we will never do it again. Well, that was lots of fun, i'll blog again soon about things that are actually going one... but for now... Hasta :-)
